The O’Farrell Charter School is a charter school that is governed by a Board of Directors that is separate from the Board of Education of the San Diego Unified School District. The Board of Directors approves O’Farrell’s annual budget, major school policies, and evaluates the Superintendent. If you wish to attend a meeting, please review the board meeting calendar.

Public Comment Guidelines:

Anyone may address the Board for up to three minutes on any agenda item at a special meeting and on any agenda or non-agenda item within the jurisdiction of The O’Farrell Charter Schools at a regular meeting. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes. If an interpreter is needed, the total time limit with translation will be six (6) minutes. Total public comment during this agenda item is limited to a total of fifteen (15) minutes. The Governing Board’s presiding officer reserves the right to impose reasonable time limits on total public testimony to ensure that the agenda is completed. If meetings are being held via teleconference, the public may send their public comment request to the Board Clerk, Mireya Diaz, at mireya.diaz@ofarrellschool.org.
